Arnold Schwarzenegger, the 75-year-old former bodybuilder, actor, and politician, has revealed that positive visualization at a young age played a significant role in his career success. In the trailer for the upcoming three-part Netflix docuseries, Arnold, the former governor of California spoke about how he imagined himself performing on stage with people chanting his name. Schwarzenegger believes that when you visualize something clearly, you are more likely to achieve it.
The trailer shows Schwarzenegger flexing his muscles, acting in movies, and promoting his political career while discussing the challenges he faced, including an injury that nearly ended his athletic career. He reflects on how his ambitions took a toll on his marriage and relationship with his children. "I have caused enough pain for my family," he says, but he remains determined to stick to his vision.
Lesley Chilcott, who directed the doc Watson about Greenpeace co-founder Paul Watson and the docuseries Helter Skelter: An American Myth, helmed Arnold. The Netflix series premieres on June 7th and is one of two upcoming projects featuring Schwarzenegger. He is also set to star in the comedy series FUBAR, about a CIA spy and his CIA spy daughter, later this month.
